Established in 2022 in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, Oak Osteo is based at the gateway of the beautiful Peak District.
We aim to help those of the local community using structural and cranial techniques, with a focus on exercise and lifestyle advice. The clinic is a modern, calming space with a professional and reassuring osteopath.

Meet Your osteopath, Laura O'Connor B.Ost
Practising in the Peak District since 2019 as a manual therapist, Laura graduated as an osteopath from The College of Osteopaths in 2021. Over this time she has treated patients with many different complaints, using a variety of techniques. Her focus is on helping people grow into their health through understanding and support.
Alongside functional manual treatments including cupping and Cranial Osteopathic techniques, Laura has experience with rehabilitation exercises and ergonomics. This allows her to offer a holistic, rounded approach to treatment and recovery.
Beside running Oak Osteo, Laura spends 1 day a week with Nottingham Osteopaths, developing her Cranial techniques. She is also a part-time teaching assistant at the university she trained with, helping the next generation of osteopaths.
